Irish Raptor Study Group

the irish raptor study group (irsg) carries out survey, monitoring and research on birds of prey and owls (raptors) in the republic of ireland.the irsg aspire to secure the conservation and enhancement of ireland's raptor populations and the landscapes on which they depend. the groups success depends on fostering an understanding and appreciation of raptors as natural assets, whose conservation can deliver investment for rural communities but also secure local and regional public benefits. the irsg also work to promote meaningful supports to landowners in designated natura 2000 sites and to deliver their sustainable use and management.
