we know that homesickness…is that unmistakable pang for home (in our case ireland). it is an awful sinking feeling, a sad yearning for family friends and…home comfort food. (not necessarily in that order). often the ma & da were driven up the walls finding time to go into different shops, comparing prices and picking the perfect contents for that all-important feel-good package, not to mention spending a small fortune getting the packages sent overseas and while trying to condense it into one box without sending the family dog or kitchen sink was a serious task. this is where our light bulb moment happened – we knew there had to be an easier and cheaper way of sending both our visitors to ireland and the irish people that live abroad irish comfort products while keeping it personal and uniquely irish at the same time. after loads of research, surveys, quite a bit of sampling over late-night chats, pints, cups of tea with friends, family and anybody who'd listen, the irish treat box
