Iriss System
iriss aims at the development and operation of an innovative and sustainable greenhouse type construction that will use its roof for the production of irrigation water – using the solar desalination method – and simultaneous, utilization of the produced water in agricultural activity to be developed inside and outside the ecological space. on a technical level, iriss consists of the following three parts: an exhaust system of seawater or brackish water, the dual heat exchanger system for simultaneous pre-heating of seawater and condensation of clean water vapors and a greenhouse construction.
