irsa international institute for art historical research (est. in 1979) is mainly a publishing house, specializing in art history. irsa is the publisher of the internationally renowned artibus et historiae, a leading art history periodical. it also publishes of scholarly volumes published under the umbrella of the bibliotheca artibus et historiae series, as well as exhibition catalogues, autobiographies and biographies of artists and other works related to art history. all articles are written by prominent international scholars. irsa also organizes art exhibitions with accompanying catalogues, research work and provides consulting services to public or private institutions. irsa collaborates with scholars, universities and museums worldwide.
