irving a. lugo m.d., p.a. is a board certified psychiatrist. he trained at the university of puerto rico school of medicine, and the veterans administration hospital. he came to the triad in 1987. since then he has worked in both the public and the private sector. since 2002, he has been the medical director of the adult inpatient unit, and the intensive outpatient chemical dependency program at the moses cone behavioral health center in greensboro. he is also a clinical professor at the university of north carolina at greensboro. he has extensive experience treating the anxiety, thought and mood disorders, as well as adhd and addictions.
