the immanuel sheefeni aquaponics is one of the largest aquaphonic fish farms in southern africa. the project is designed to help create up to 1,500 direct and indirect job opportunities in outapi and throughout namibia, especially for those who are affected and or infected with and by hiv/aids, while contributing to the development of food security in namibia. immanuel sheefeni aquaponics is being developed on 4 hectares of land, located about 1.5 km on the outskirts of outapi town in anamulenge constituency of omusati region. the main focus is to produce over 39,000 tons per annum of shrimps and over 100,000 tons per annum of tilapia, as well as a mixture of vegetables for the local and sadc markets. immanuel sheefeni aquaponics is a development project of immanuel sheefeni aquaponics (pty) ltd., a windhoek, namibia founded by immanuel sheefeni.
