Isle Connect You

isle connect you is a brand-new project that started on 1st august – this project is designed to tackle isolation and loneliness in the over 65’s on the isle of sheppey. a fantastic team are on hand to support those who are referred to the project to support and nurture an individual to a life of independence and experiences once more. following a successful application to the national lottery community fund, we have been awarded £375k for the three-year piece of work. the project aims to improve well-being for older people, through support to access local amenities, recreational or social activities as well as increased confidence and self-esteem. we will be working alongside the kent fire & rescue service, community wardens, and other partners to ensure that those most in need are supported and welcomed into the programme. life can become quite daunting over time. isolation and loneliness can have a detrimental effect on health and wellbeing. we are here to support through
