Islington Giving

we are an independent group of funders, businesses, residents and voluntary organisations working together to tackle poverty and inequality in islington. we want islington to be a place where everyone – regardless of circumstance – has the opportunity and means to live a fulfilled life. we work by shining a light on the issues of poverty and inequality and harnessing resources to address them. we focus on: investing in young people supporting families reaching isolated people our support: we make grants to voluntary organisations which provide support and activities we make, build and develop partnerships to deliver projects and create networks we fundraise since launching in 2010: we have awarded funding to over 60 organisations, large and small, whose 5,000 volunteers have in turn supported over 20,000 residents in islington. we have raised over £6million, thanks to the support of individuals, businesses, trust and foundations.
