founded in 1915, the institute for supply management™ (ism) exists to lead and serve the supply management profession and is a highly influential and respected association in the global marketplace. ism is a not-for-profit educational association that serves professionals and organizations with an interest in supply management in more than 80 countries. today ism – southeast michigan is one of many affiliates across the country that makes up our national organization, the institute for supply management (ism). our membership consists of a wide variety of supply management professionals in different industries and at all levels in their careers. ism – southeast michigan remains dedicated to promoting educational and networking events for supply management professionals in our region. we also recognize and support the professional certifications and qualifications offered through ism: the cpsm and cpsd designations
