the accessory brand ismad london was founded in 2003, using the incredible talents of local artisans in morocco to create a range of upmarket leather accessories for the uk fashion industry. ismad london’s bags are a gentle reminder of another possibility of things made by hand, stitch after stitch. it is a culmination of many years’ experience, completely handmade from 100% premium leather. the bags are classic, practical, fashionable and durable – made of the best leather but with an authentic vintage feel. we control our own production from selection of the best raw leather hides all the way to the last stitch detail on every bag. we work with highly skilled artisans to create our collections and use brass hardware sourced from italy to ensure the high quality. we use a unique kind of eco leather that takes a minimum of 2 months to be tanned without harmful chemicals. everything we make is handmade, including dyeing the leather, polishing it, cutting the patterns, gluing the pieces
