isn't that nuts was inspired by the classic new york city nut carts that every new yorker loves. in late 2017 owner robert iacone, a staten island resident found himself craving the sweet snack. not wanting to travel into manhattan he took his passion of cooking into the kitchen and created his version of the candied peanuts. after some trial and error he found himself with so many nuts he couldn't possibly eat them all himself. robert passed his creation out to family and friends; they were a hit! with all the positive feedback and the suggestion of a fun witty name, isn't that nuts was created. since its creation in 2017 the candied nuts have been available on etsy in different flavors and sizes, the candied nut tray being a holiday favorite is one of our top sellers. we have had orders from as far as belgium and switzerland. we like to think of it as a little piece of new york being shipped to your door. we are also a part of the local vending community where we have a solid followi
