l’institut supérieur d’optique (iso) was created from the passion of daniel and marlene lebrati. the pioneering couple created iso in 1988 in the heart of the 15th arrondissement of paris. their vision was to create a school that would prepare students for challenging careers in vision care integrating the science of optics with fashion and business administration. what they created would grow into the largest provider of vision care education in the world. today, the iso group of schools consists of 12 campuses with numerous partnerships with professional organizations, retailers, and research institutes around the world. iso boasts an alumni network of 8000. at any given time, iso has a total of 3000 students in its campuses in france and 500 instructors in subjects ranging from geometric optics and physics to business administration. iso’s students benefit enormously from this extensive network and we hope to expand it further as we move into north america. iso has been able to grow
