israel employment innovations (iei) is a non-profit organization in israel whose goal is to develop and test solutions to better integrate all populations into the labor market with an initial focus on young adults. iei's approach includes taking successful international and u.s. employment, education and training models and testing and refining them for the israeli market. iei emphasizes programs that connect workers skills to labor market demand. in its first year, iei launched a r&d; phase of a five year, multi-site demonstration project to connect young adults with growing industries in israel. in october 2014, iei issued a report detailing the research findings of this phase including plans for a pilot focused on entry level occupations in the logistics, healthcare and construction industries ashdod, israel scheduled to begin in march 2015. iei is led by laura seidell segal who brings over 20 years of u.s based experience and dr. rafi gelbart, a leading lsraeli iabor market scient
