Israel Friends of Technion

israel friends of technion's mission (ift) is to make sure that every capable young person, regardless of social, financial, educational or ethnic background, is given the opportunity to study at the technion. through ift fund-raising efforts, ift helps needy graduate students to finance their studies, providing support for post-graduates education and the acquisition of higher degrees, which would pave the way for their becoming part of the technion’s academic or research staff. through these efforts, the ift contributes to the creation of a significant group of talented researchers in israel, promoting israel as start-up nation and securing israel's leading position at the forefront of science and technology. support and resources received are critical to funding some of the technion's strategic projects, such as recruiting new faculty, building new dormitories and laboratories, as well as providing fellowships and scholarships to students and more.
