israel - gulf chamber of commerce - ilgcc - was established in february 2020, at the initiative of leading israeli businessmen and public figures to promote trade, culture and academia between the two countries, and works to advance the interests of the gulf state's members. the ilgcc is the only binational bureau recognized by the umbrella organization of the binational chambers of commerce, the registrar of associations, the israeli ministry of foreign affairs, and the economic ministries of government in israel, for the development of trade between israel and the gulf states. the bureau is managed by senior officials in the israeli economy, and is accompanied by a steering committee with experience and contacts in the target countries. its members contribute their experience to the success of the bureau and the achievement of its goals.
