founded in 2007 by nfl defensive end israel idonije, iif is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, committed to impacting underserved communities by providing programs focused on social and emotional life skills. predicated off the tenet “together we succeed," the israel idonije foundation is headquartered in chicago, ill. and operates the following programs in chicago, canada and africa. *after-school program: the izzyz kidz after-school program partners with the salvation army kroc center and engages 40-50 6th grade to high school age students. students receive academic assistance and mentorship as well as lessons in recreational pursuits, educational and cultural opportunities, and employment exposure. *youth leaders summer internship program: the youth leaders program targets high achieving students from the iif after school program to participate in a summer long learning program including a reading and reflection project, exposure to job training and workforce softskil
