the iaf accelerator is the first internal military accelerator of its kind anywhere in the world. it functions much like any civilian startup accelerator except that all the teams are active duty soldiers and officers (working on the accelerator in addition to their regular positions) and they only work on projects that will solve challenges that the iaf faces internally. the goal of the accelerator is to take early stage ideas from need knowers within the organization and, over a 10 week period, develop those ideas into well thought out mvps.
