the story of istre consulting services, llc. i have spent nearly 30 years working and learning. in the us navy, i studied nuclear engineering and earned a top secret security clearance. while working, i studied information technology. i have attended leadership training in budapest, hungary. i have amassed a plethora of knowledge through on-the-job training while managing in such industries as telecommunications, the petroleum industry, and restaurants. i began my working career in may 1988. i served my time in the military then began my civilian career. i had no contacts so i had to earn all my shots...starting from tbe bottom. i worked my way up from every position i ever accepted. in 2006, after 15+ years working for companies domestically, i decided it was time for a change. i wanted to earn international experience. i finally landed a spot wiith a major european contractor in 2008. in early 2012, after 4 years of international work (chad, algeria, iraq, saudi arabia), i accepted
