Isud

isud was developed by the center for inclusive design and environmental access (idea center) at the university at buffalo’s school of architecture and planning. the idea center engages in research and design focused on advancing equity and inclusion. we create person-centered tools, programs, and environments, and share these practices with change-makers in universities, organizations, and communities. the idea center has developed over 500 voluntary solutions organized into nine chapters. the solutions are based on years of extensive research and practice and guided by the goals of universal design (ud).
