it takes a village collaborative (itavcollab) is a family owned organization, founded by a sister duo who are mission-driven to serve a divine unified purpose; to enlighten, educate and empower the lives of children, families and communities of tomorrow. itavcollab was established to enrich the “whole child” with special emphasis on the “whole family” and community. with its foundation firmly rooted in the “nguzu saba”, the seven principles of kwanzaa, which is a celebration of family, community, and culture. hence, the purpose of itavcollab is to enhance our communities by ensuring that individuals are supported, challenged, engaged, resilient, secure, nurtured and faithful/hopeful; the itavcollab approach.
