our mission is simple – to provide an introduction to italian cycling in one of the best regions for the sport, the veneto region. we provide first class hotels, food, hosts and tours throughout your week long stay with us. we feature two guided rides each morning, one for fitness riders and one for riders who prefer to ride slower. the italian bicycling tours company is operated by three families with a passion for italy, doug ritter, who grew up as an american in rome but has been cycling in the veneto region for the past 17 years and now lives there. gail waxman, who has been leading personalized tours to italy for years and is located in dallas when not in italy; and cesare and giulietta rossetto, who live near bassano in italy. he comes from a cycling family, and his father cycled almost every day until he was 84. cesare and his son, gabriele, both ride group leaders, have been riding these mountains and roads their whole cycling life. cesare’s wife will offer an afternoon cooking
