Italian Contemporary Film Festival [Icff]

the italian contemporary film festival [icff] takes place during canada and ontario’s “italian heritage month.” as the only italian film festival in canada, [icff] is an influential showcase for contemporary cinema of italian origin from all over the world and offers 9 days of cinematic experiences centered on italian life, culture and history. using the power of the moving image to both entertain and educate, icff defies conventional perspectives on complex and challenging issues facing both the italian and the global communities. all films are in italian or other foreign languages subtitled in english or french (in montreal and quebec city). from its inception in 2012 in toronto, the festival has grown to in 2013 be in toronto and montreal. in 2014, the festival will run simultaneously in toronto, vaughan, montreal, quebec city and hamilton.
