many believes that virtual reality didn't exist before oculus and the take on it by facebook... the development of hmds started back in the late 60s, by the early 90s there was a growing community of enthusiasts and researchers working of both hardware and software dedicated to the virtual reality... we were there as well. our founder dimitri albino have been on of the very first in italy to focus on the development of virtual reality. back in 1992 as system administrator for the politecnico di torino italia university he started a small lab dedicated to r&d on virtual reality, working mainly on the sensing of finger's movement and the integration with the rend386 3d engine... he worked on the development of 3d environments, application on silicon graphics workstations and calculation running on cray super computers while before most of the people heard about this technologies, publishing in the autumn of 1994 his first book on virtual reality and signing as editorial director the firs
