itinerànnia is a network of trails that allows mobility between all the municipalities of 3 counties in northern catalonia. following the itinerànnia paths you can reach the sea from the pyrenees. on foot, by bicycle, running. a sustainable way of knowing the territory. this organization is the joint initiative between the ripollès, garrotxa and alt empordà county councils and their tourism promotion entities: agència ripollès desenvolupament, turisme garrotxa and empordà turisme. from the path network we work on three main lines: - the management of the infrastructure: maintenance and cleaning all the trails, signaling, extension of routes, digitization and coordination with all the entities of the territory that have signaled paths and itineraries. - the economic activity through the roads: promotion the network of trails as a tourist resource generating supply in different markets: itineraries, walking trips, hiking festivals - the link with the local population: the recovery
