the itr 26ers aaa hockey club is a minnesota based youth hockey association originating in 2009, initially as the itr devils. with a variety of training and summer teams already available to youth hockey players in minnesota and beyond, thomas vanek was eager to come aboard and make a difference. thomas promises to bring a stable of elite coaches, from contacts made while playing at the u of m, but his greatest contribution will be the wealth of practical hockey knowledge that he promises to deliver current and future 26ers.. as an organization, the 26ers philosophy rests on the belief that exposure to elite coaches, training and competition where players, competing against other players of similar skill, provides the greatest opportunity for development.
