itrading is a trading application with innovative functionalities for retail traders. using a very basic and easy trading scripting (lua) the traders were able to associate their strategy to ticks of several types of market data, for example, foreign exchange, stock and contracts for differences. the main goal of the project was to develop a new solution for traders with no programming experience to get gains using the speed of an automate execution process. many functionalities were implemented such as: - advanced scripting in order to enable traders to analyse the market oscillations - backtesting of the strategies using historical data - api support for one of the biggest financial brokers (interactive broker) technically, the main feature was its async behaviour on triggering the strategy after each tick market oscillation. in this project it was used many technologies such as nodejs, electronjs, lua and python.
