hi, i am meg hulme! i am a trainee solicitor at a top 40 international law firm in the uk. after obtaining average gcses, going to a non-russell group university, going through four gruesome years of training contract applications, three years of paralegalling and a couple of years mentoring and tutoring a variety of students, i realised i had a lot of experience and perspective to share on the legal industry. my journey to becoming a trainee solicitor was hard. i constantly felt alone and that there was no information out there and i truly believe that is why i spent four years trying to get a training contract. because there was no information and because i didn't feel like i could reach out for help, i wasted so much valuable time and effort. therefore, i want to make sure no one feels the way i did. there is certainly an art to getting this journey right and while mistakes and setbacks are unavoidable, i want to be a person that will help you to never give up and also provide
