the international watercolor society (iws) is a non-profit organization that was established in january 2012 with the objective of promoting the world’s oldest and most deeply rooted painting technique, the art of watercolor. iws is founded by mr. atanur dogan. our goal is to promote peace through the use of art, the common language of all the people of the world. our activities involve bringing watercolor artists and art lovers together. iws uae was founded and initiated in 2015 by mrinmay sebastian. she was officially appointed as the country head and president of the uae chapter by the global president and founder mr atanur dogan. iws uae was nurtured in uae by artists and art lovers of uae. in today's world, watercolor is one of the safest painting mediums, making the smallest impact on the natural environment.
