yüksek teknolojili ürünlerin uluslararası ce onaylarını vermek üzere tasarlanan yetkilendirilmiş (akredite), i̇zmi̇r teknotest projesi, 02.06.2016 tarih ve 2274 sayılı kalkınma bakanlığı yazısı ile güdümlü proje desteği kapsamında desteklenmek üzere ajans 2016 çalışma programı ve bütçesi'ne alınması onaylanmıştır. i̇zmir ve bölgesinde, ilk defa, bu proje ile, ulusal ve uluslararası standartlara uygun ce işaretli ürün onayı vermeye yetkilendirilmiş toplamda 4 ayrı onay sürecini kapsayan test merkezi kurulması hedeflenmiştir. i̇zmi̇r teknotest, i̇tob organize sanayi bölgesi içerisinde tamamı ile sanayiye hizmet verecek bilgi ve akademik desteği üniversiteden alan bölgenin elektronik ve elektromekanik alanda ilk ve tek uluslararası onay veren yetkilendirilmiş test merkezi olacaktır.
