jeff dobbs started this business in 1980 originally as a maintenance company. from there, the company moved into the field of structural steel and fabrication. it was during this period that a demand for crane services was noticed. while still maintaining steel and fabrication services, we purchased several cranes and began providing rental services for contractors. we have since dropped the steel and fabrication portions of our business and now exclusively provide exceptional crane rental services. since becoming an exclusive crane rental service corporation, j.l. dobbs, inc. strives to continuously provide our customers with the highest quality workmanship and customer service. our fleet of cranes is constantly progressing over time to satisfy customer’s lifting needs. from our 8 ton crane to our newest grove 350 ton crane, we are outfitted to lift the lightest object to the heaviest object needed. our cranes are located in the west deptford area and can easily be dispatched to the
