j & m electrical was started up by john robertson in 1986 as a partnership, then 16 years ago he was joined by his son john robertson jnr. from humble beginnings in farquhar road and a garage in clifton road, the family-run business then moved to king street, then elmfield place, to the walker road premises where it operates today with 10 employees. initially business was mainly domestic, concentrating on the installation of storage heaters, with the occasional commercial or industrial job, however as the business grew the commercial sector increased. today the company are proud to offer a wide range of experienced personnel to cover all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance, including working with new builds and self-build properties. we offer a wide range of services, including hmo related work, installations (domestic, commercial and industrial), mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (mvhr). our fleet of vehicles is also 100% electric. nic eic approved contract
