j7 farms ltd was incorporated in 2013 and consisted of and was managed by the members of the previous partnership operating as "j7 farms". j7 started as a small cow/calf operation based out of sherwood park, ab and in a span of 30 years would see the operation grow to a cow herd of over 1600 head and a land base of 5000 acres. in the years prior to incorporating, j7 settled at a more "reasonable" size of 150 head cow heard and 3500 acre land base. today, j7 farms ltd is winding down their farming operations to focus on "new and exciting prospects".
