jack travis faia architect, founded in 1985, is an design practice specializing in architecture, interiors, cultural design consulting and academic theory exploring princples and concepts for evolving a definitive black aesthetic within the environemtal design disciplines. in over thirty years of practice, jack travis faia architect has drawn a unique clientele including fashion designer giorgio armani, film director and actor spike lee, actor/ producer wesley snipes, pizza-magnet jerry sbarro, and abc/ espn sports anchor john saunders among others. mr. travis's interests are not solely in high-end/ high-profile design. he is also active in civic duties, mentorship and social responsibility initiatives serving predominately black and under-privileged communities.
