Jackie Iwanski Clinical Counselling & Therapy

hi there! my name is jackie iwanski. i am a registered social worker with the ocwssw and dedicated to challenging my clients to lean into discomfort and equipping them with the necessary skills to create meaningful change in their lives. i earned my master of social work from the university of western in london, ontario and my bachelor of social work from ryerson university in toronto, ontario. beyond running my private practice clinic, i also work as a clinical therapist for the ministry’s lead children and youth mental health agency of the niagara region. my hobbies include: biking, petting every dog i meet, and traveling. i take a modern, evidence- based approach to therapy. i love to incorporate solution focused elements of cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, as well as trauma-informed therapy.
