Jackson Hole Ocean Sailing Team

jackson hole ocean sailing team (jhost) is a donor-supported 501c3 organization located in jackson, wyoming. our young sailors, experienced staff and enthusiastic donors are committed to developing resilient life skills through unique sail racing experiences, starting with racing on jackson lake in grand teton national park, to pacific offshore races like the transpac ocean race, from los angeles to hawaii. we recruit jackson youth based on their passion (not sailing experience) to train, sail and race together. we teach dry land courses in safety, leadership, and team-building in addition to a wide array of on-water lessons. reaching across socioeconomic and cultural boundaries our diverse team learns skills to safely navigate the ocean as well as life itself. vision: building a world-class youth based sailing program that others will emulate and everyone will want to be part of. mission: developing life-skills through sailing our philosophy: sailing programs supported and available t
