there are three main facets of responsibly: autonomy + competence + relatedness. there are billions of solutions for being responsible and being productive. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. "grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, change the things i can, and the wisdom to know the difference." (from the serenity prayer). when you are working with people, this is what you get: some measure of responsibility, some combination of autonomy, responsibility, and competence that is a person you may work with. add 7 more and you have a team which is 8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1 (40,320) times more complicated if you don't find, develop, train and facilitate responsibility in your organization. and yes, it's top down then bottom up. time to act: call jim 614-429-1534
