Jamnet

jamnet is a social network for musicians, music enthusiasts, and those looking to hire musicians. users will be able to browse and search for musicians based on their skills, the instruments they play (if any), their genres of choice, favorite artists, and what they are actually looking to use jamnet for. users will also be suggested other users that they are similar to so that they may get in contact with them if they so choose. in addition, users will be able to upload media to jamnet in which they may tag themselves or others as well as the skills and instruments that each user is employing in said media. this will allow users to easily view another users posted and tagged media by narrowing it down based on the inputted tags. the creation of this tagging system is central to what makes jamnet a highly functional website for displaying the interests and accomplishments each user has made in the music world.
