we live in a jar, and think the lid is the sky" jamsu is more than a jam , the reusable pocket size pouches are there to remind people to go beyond their potentials. when cansu's(pronounced as jansue) therapist back home in turkey suggested her to add colors to her life in new york, as a creative director, she was unable to see just how many colors she could have in her life. then she realized that if she had one thing on the side that balanced her crazy life, even when everything went south, she could still hang on to that. so she decided to go to the union square greenmarket once a week, buy locally grown fresh fruits and jam them. this started to inspire other women around her who were looking for a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. after all, jamming is a way of recycling fruits. the more she did, the more it made sense in different ways: 1)support local producers 2)promote a balanced life 3)recycling food, 4)reusable packages to promote waste reduction 5)women empowerment 6)
