jardin de america is a fully accredited, total immersion spanish school, offering one-on-one intensive training by native spanish speaking teachers. our approach to teaching spanish: we begin by making sure students know the fundamental mechanics of spanish and a that they have a basic vocabulary. then, building on a solid foundation, we carefully develop a student's language skills for as long his or her studies continue. no language exists in a cultural void. most of our students take room and board with a guatemalan family and after class go with teachers on various activities and tours around the lake.
