javascript and friends is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, supported by a team of volunteers. we are all active or aspiring software professionals, and we are excited to bring together a diverse group of javascript enthusiasts and friends to learn and network. we want to contribute to the cultivation of a welcoming, inclusive, and dynamic tech scene throughout the midwestern united states, and beyond. javascript and friends will organize software conference , user group meetups and other educational events which would promote aspiring students to consider software programming as career and provide a medium for experienced software developers in the region to be current and updated with latest technology advancements in the fields around javascript. javascript and friends will also focus on increasing diversity in software careers by arranging events to promote women and underrepresented groups and encourage them to consider software development as a career option by providi
