javelin machinery (australia), founded by ben mackie, had its beginning in 1970 as a specialist converting operation utilizing single knife slitters. the company designed and manufactured single knife slitters and rewinders using the converting expertise gathered over the previous 50 years. when you purchase a machine you also benefit from this experience which was used to shape the machines sold today. following ben's sudden passing in 2019 the javelin name has been refreshed to continue to supporting servicing and spares on 50 years worth of javelin machines as well as further sales of the latest 860 and 3600 series machines.
