welcome to jay scott state farm in albany, ca – we protect families across the entire east bay in particular albany, el cerrito, berkeley, kensington, richmond, san pablo and surrounding communities. i'm a south african born new zealander. i grew up rowing and playing field hockey and cricket, and am an avid watcher of rugby. i enjoy fishing and spending time amongst the trees whenever i can! i’ve spent a decade serving high-tech companies in six countries before i moved permanently to the usa in 2017. i married the love of my life, mayar, and settled into santa clarita until we recently moved to the east bay. we just had our first child; a baby girl born sep 2020. i fell into insurance in 2018 when i joined the #3 agent in the country at state farm. i discovered that insurance is a business of deep care and compassion. as a servant leader, this struck a chord with me and i have chosen to dedicate my life in service to this generation and the next; by becoming your local state farm
