judith creed homes for adult independence (jchai) is a non-profit organization that gives much needed support to philadelphia area adults with special needs, including people with developmental disabilities, brain injury and autism. our services are tailored to each individual’s abilities--from full service group homes, to apartment living with part-time support staff, to minimal hourly support through our newest program, jchai at home, which is offered for as little as 2 hours a week in a client’s own residence. as a non-profit, jchai also opens its doors to people with limited incomes, and offers many ways to make our programs affordable.
