the idea of jci2jci was sparked by a problem: its founder, mike ritschard (nom switzerland, lom berne), used to spend hours and even days looking for suppliers and partners of all sorts - only to realize that many of those he found were already known to him. gradually it dawned on him that he could complete most of his day-to-day business with other jcs. making this laborious process of searching for other members a thing of the past is the idea behind jci2jci. as an international platform, the project is intended to make it possible to access the business services provided by all registered jcs in a straightforward way. the platform facilitates collaboration between members, but is also ideally suited to demonstrating the scope, and therefore the business advantages, of jci. loms can refer to jci2jci when it comes to searching for project sponsors, thereby underlining the huge variety of the network and the practical advantages of becoming involved with it.
