jd steel drafting is providing detailed and accurate 3d models to industries such as commercial fabrication and mining. jd steel drafting produces detailed, accurate models for structural fabrication and construction. we use the highly advanced tekla structures 3d modelling and detailing software to model each project in 3d and then provide clients with all documentation and technical support needed for them to fabricate and erect the structural steelwork of the project. on completion of the process some of the following deliverables are provided to our clients: • fabrication shop detail drawings. • marking plans and erection drawings. (both 2d and 3d). • reports such as material lists, bolt lists etc. • wrap templates. • nc files for beam line production. • dxf files for plate cutting. • 3d bim model • electronic files in formats such as pdf, dgn or dwg.
