Jeannine La Rose

“nothing can dim the light that shines from within” -maya angelou- jeannine la rose is a professional vocal trainer, presentation coach, artist and certified evts master (estill voice training system). jeannine la rose (paramaribo 1979) started singing at the age of 7 with the srio children choir in surinam. she has always loved singing and performing in front of an audience. in 2003 she received her bachelors in singing at the conservatory of rotterdam. she has also spend a period in brazil to learn more about the brazilian music and language. she played in different world music bands around the world. jeannine has more than 18 years experience in music and theatre in large musical and theatre productions: hair (jaques senf), mary poppins (joop v/d ende), impact, daddy cool (albert verlinde), soul of motown, jesus christ super star. jeannine has been cast for a role in the musical the color purple, which will be performing in the netherlands starting april 16th.
