Jennifer Paige Designs

a paige of jennifer: graduated from parsons the new school for designs as well as arizona state university. i have worked at women's wear daily, oscar de la renta and the american eagle design center in new york city. i like to create and design authentic products for authentic people. i launched a collection of hair accessories at henri bendel in 2009. my designs have been featured in henri bendel’s fifth ave window, on the today show with project runway contestant laura bennet, on the food network’s cupcake wars, and in several magazines and publications. in the fall of 2009, i created, with a friend, a mannequin for the grand opening of barneys at scottsdale fashion square. our mannequin was designed out of chindi rugs. chindi rugs are throw rugs from india which are woven out of recycled clothes and textiles. the chindi rug mannequin sparked the idea to create a collection of handbags using the same materials, and that is how i arrived at this current project. i lost both my parent
