the district court belongs to the people of mecklenburg county. it's where the most important parts of our lives are handled -our family, our money, and our freedom. jennifer's professional and personal experiences as a litigator, child advocate and parent make her uniquely qualified to serve as a district court judge jennifer started her career with the guardian ad litem program in florida as a court advocate for abused and neglected children. she followed that work with time as a juvenile court case manager working directly with families involved with the juvenile court system. in 2014, jennifer became a member of the north carolina state bar. she handles family law, appellate advocacy, and serves as a parent coordinator in high conflict divorce cases. in her legal practice she has successfully represented clients in trial and in the north carolina court of appeals. as an attorney, guardian ad litem and case worker, jennifer has spent years working to make sure the voices of
