i am an art director and graphic designer with an 18 year history in a variety of industries that includes healthcare, education, business, law, entertainment and tourism. most recently i was a full-time employee at covidien, a medical device manufacturer, where i provided design and direction for portfolios of materials for airways and ventilation products for global distribution. i consulted with marketing and product managers, copywriters, event coordinators, web developers and executives to develop creative approaches for all marketing media. in addition, i provided creative guidance for photography shoots, app development and videos developed by external vendors, and i incorporated brand identity into all visual materials to ensure consistent messaging and awareness of the corporate brand.
