jenphar bangladesh limited has its legacy from julphar bangladesh limited which was a subsidiary of julphar uae, one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the middle east and africa. julphar was established in 1980 under the guidance of his highness sheikh saqr bin mohammed al qasimi, the late ruler of ras al khaimah (rak). the history began in 2009 when rak pharmaceuticals limited started its journey in bangladesh as a venture of giant rak group of uae. julphar uae acquired a majority stake of rak pharmaceuticals & agreed on a joint partnership in terms of technology transfer and commercial marketing for advanced pharmaceutical products. in order to rebrand itself with the parent company, rak pharmaceuticals ltd. renamed itself as julphar bangladesh limited in 2015. as a strategic move to expand its fast growing business of life saving drugs, radiant pharmaceuticals limited acquired julphar bangladesh limited on 13th july 2020. after the approval from the office of the regist
